Old/New Chicago Series. This body of work represents the old and new buildings of Chicago. The yellow ochers, browns and earth tones are the old stoic building from the Art Deco period of the 20's and 30's, while the various blues represent the modern translucent skyscrapers and the reflections in their glass. A few bright colors have been added from the yellow lines in the road, to spray paint at construction sites and the colorful plants that beautify the city.
